End of a Year - Beginning of the Transfer Period

I'm always worried at this time of year with the transfer window opening soon. Plymouth Argyle are doing really well at the moment and I don't want any team who think they are bigger and can buy any player off smaller teams to come and rob us of our top players. There have been rumours that Holloway is after some of our players but he has denied this. Is this another one of his lies? Only time will tell, God knows he needs some help with the team he has now.
We had a good result against Stoke this week, coming back twice to come out of the game with a point and keeping us in 6th place on the table. Well done lads.

I'm sure this will be the headlines in the Hearld again at the end of the season!

Plymouth Argyle against Bristol City

My daughter came home from uni this weekend so we could go and see the Plymouth Argyle, Bristol City match. The kick off was at 12.30 and we set off from home at about 9.15 so we had plenty of time to park up and get to our seats.
On the way down the A38 there were a couple of police cars parked on slip roads leading on to the motor way which slowed up the traffic causing us to worry that we would miss the start of the match. As we past the second police car we spotted lots of coaches parked in a lay-by with lots of police bikes. The coaches were full of Bristol City supporters who were going to get an escort to the match. We wondered why the police were taking such precautions when we've never seen this before with any other match we've been to.
While looking on UTube tonight I came across the video below and now I know why there were worries about the City supports.
The match was a good one although a bit disappointing as, with Plymouth with a one nil lead we then gave them an own goal ending in a result of a one all draw
Was it worth sitting in the cold and wet for one point? It sure was!
